These are a hoot! Just wanted to write in and say thanks a bunch, as Destruction Derby doesn't get enough love/attention these days. The new 'Demolition Derby 3' game features many requests by players from our previous game and many of the same features that helped DD2 reach over 15 million downloads 100 Vehicles. It won't make the current update that's about to get put on the Public server, but it may make an appearance in subsequent updates. I will make sure to move ahead with plans to put a few destruction derby arenas (and maybe tracks, there is one dirt track already) into Los Injurus City map when I have the time and get enough props for it scripted/imported in and working. Destruction Derby 1 and 2 and also Whiplash (along with GTA 1 the original top-down one) were my go-to games for quite a number of years - when I wasn't playing (or making maps for) the original Doom/Doom II. you get more points for getting them do a 360 other than driving into their sides at high speed. However, I am quite thankful I get to relive that good old game again (well I could put it in DosBox but I lost the CD 15~20 years ago). You probably feel like a crash test dummy when you're playing this game - it's not only a racing game, but you get points for wrecking your enemies The amount of points you get depends on how you hit them. There's not enough of these destruction derbies available for BeamNG Drive, as that wouldn't be humanly possible. The PS1 Destruction Derby titles would put you in the seat of a high powered vehicle, in either an arena or a. Than the downfalls. This game is reminiscent of the demolition derby games for ps1, far more than anything yet. While I'm not the best derby driver out there by long and far, these are very much one of my favorite things to do when playing maps. All the makings of a great game somehow lost in translation. The pure racing aspects of Destruction Derby are more than adequate, featuring five tracks in which you can race your opponents to the finish line if. The goal is not only to win, but to total your enemies while surviving yourself. 5/ 5, Version: 1.1 I used to play this on my Cyrix 6x86 PR-150+ 120mhz (OC'ed via jumpers to PR-166+ 133mhz for Quake fps) quite often when I was in highschool in the 90's. Destruction Derby is an excellent carnage-cum-racing game in the same vein as Carmageddon.
